That statute means there’s no cap on economic damages. In 2019, the Oklahoma Supreme Court threw out a former cap on non-economic damages set at $350,000, and ever since, there has been no limit on what victims can recover.
Punitive Damages
Punitive damages are awarded to the victim as punishment for the defendant, not to compensate the victim.
